Ham and Cheese Puffs
Here are my ham and cheese puffs, which I tend to make every couple of week for dinner. To make you need: 500g puff pastry, 4 portions of ham, 150g of Philadelphia garlic and herb cream cheese, and some grated cheese of your choice (probably jack or cheddar).
Heat the ham and both cheeses together in a pan until the cheese has melted and you have a mixture of ham and cheese. While this is melting, roll out the pastry and cut it into four rectangles. Place the ham onto the pastry as shown in the last picture, then brush the edges of the pastry with milk, fold in half and seal. Also brush some milk on the top, and make a couple of light slits with a knife. Transfer to a baking tray, and cook for 10-15 minutes until golden in a oven at 160 degrees.
These are also great reheated for lunch the next day. This makes four, so my brother and I each have one for dinner and then one for lunch the next day at school.
