Another Hummingbird purchase from yesterday (I went a bit mad!). To be honest, the favourite part of the whoopie pie for me was the chinese takeaway style carton. In general, I'm not a massive fan of whoopie pies. I've made them once (a chocolate version) and attributed my dislike to the fact that it was a first time recipe, even though my friends liked them. However after being not overly keen on the one from Hummingbird, I've decided its the whoopies pies I don't like. I find them too dense, and to be honest, I'd rather have cake! 4/10 (My brother still seemed to enjoy it)
P.S If anyone has a way to make whoopie pies lighter without losing their shape, I'd love to know!
