Mississippi Mud Pie

Another pie! So yesterday I made a Mississippi Mud Pie. I used the recipe from the Hummingbird book. The main reason I made this is because I'm trying to work on my pastry, as I've had enough of cakes (just for now!). It turned out pretty well, and my English class and friends enjoyed it. I made a large pie to take into school, but found that I had just enough pastry and definitely enough filling in order to make a mini pie for me, my mum and my brother (the fourth picture - it didn't last long). I would recommend doing this if you can, as this way if you are presenting the pie to someone, you at least know it tastes good!
