22nd Birthday Cake

Here some photos of the 22nd birthday cake that I made for my boyfriend! I went with a classic chocolate sponge recipe, with a chocolate buttercream, then Cadbury's caramel nibbles to spell out '22' on top! Also, although it's quite hard to see in the pictures, I cut out the centre of the lower tier and filled it with Crunchy bites!

Essentially an overload of chocolate! Simple but a fun bake - although if I was to make it again, I think I would try to put a more colourful chocolate such as M&Ms in the middle to make it a bit more visually effective!
