Strawberry Meringues

I thought I'd share a fun and easy dessert that my boyfriend made for me and him last Sunday, to take advantage of his current favourite obsession, strawberries!

While these meringues did take two attempts, the second batch was great! We enjoyed them with some chopped up fresh strawberries and whipped cream. I meant to only have a couple of bites, but once I started eating them I couldn't resist!
