Mince Pies

Before baking! 

So for my first post of December, I thought I would start off with a festive classic, mince pies!

I used the recipe from Mary Berry's Christmas Recipe book for these, which I got as a present last Christmas! Like most mince pie recipes, these were quick and easy to make, with an easy pastry and then pre-bought mincemeat!

I love using a star for the top as I think it makes the mince pies look even more Christmassy! I've got a couple more festive posts coming up, so keep an eye out!
