Chocolate Fudge Cake

Yesterday two of my little cousins, aged six and eight came over. The eight year old wanted to make a cake and decided that I was the best person to ask, so she brought over the cookbook she had and picked a recipe, the chocolate fudge cake. The three of us then made the cake together, although I mostly did the mixing, but I got them to read out the recipe and help measure out ingredients, then they both gave it a final mix. Once it was out of the oven, we made the topping, then they were both allowed half of the cake to decorate (the silver balls down the middle were the dividing line I set), so they both went a bit mad! Still, a good recipe to make with them and they happily took some home.
