Simple Brownies

I made these a couple of weeks ago to take over to a friends after she cooked me dinner. I took a basic brownie recipe (I used one from the Great British Bakeoff Cookbook, I would recommend simply using one from a cookbook that you trust). The easy twist on this was that I added walnuts. I have found the easiest way to get a variety of walnut sizes is to break them up with your hands, and add them at the last moment. Simple, quick and easy to make, especially when you leave them a bit a gooey like I have here!
