Sauasge and Bean Casserole


This is my first recipe that I made from my 4 ingredient Student Cookbook. It sounds basic, but the 4 ingredients don't include store cupboard staples.

This recipe includes a tin of mixed beans, a tin of baked beans, and a tin of chopped tomatoes.

First, cut the sausages into four (I would do 2 sausages per person) and brown them in a pan with a little bit of olive oil. After about five minutes, add the three cans and allow to simmer for 15 minutes, stirring every couple of minutes.

I add the sausage and bean mixture with mash potatoes, but it would also work with with pasta, or over a baked potato.
